Một máy chủ web tích hợp được sử dụng để cấu hình. Thiết bị có thể được giám sát từ xa qua internet bằng cổng thông tin Công nghệ SensDesk kết hợp với ứng dụng SensDesk Mobile dành cho iOS và Android. Nó hoạt động với HWg-PDMS và HWg-Trigger.
Nhờ các tùy chọn nguồn điện 9–30 VDC, -48 V và PoE, Damocles2 2404 có thể được triển khai trong nhiều tình huống khác nhau.
Thiết bị Damocles2 được thiết kế để giám sát và kiểm soát I/O kỹ thuật số qua mạng bằng các giao thức M2M an toàn (HTTP, IPv6, SNMPv3). Với sự hỗ trợ cho hơn 50 ứng dụng SNMP và SCADA, thiết bị Damocles2 có thể được tích hợp trong nhiều hệ thống giám sát và kiểm soát. Giao thức MQTT cho phép tích hợp vào các giải pháp IoT.

- For Ring or SMS alarm use the HWg-Trigger software (external GSM modem required), or a HWg-SMS-GW3 gateway in the same LAN.
- Virtual Digital Outputs (VDO) can be mapped to physical digital outputs (relays) of other Damocles2 or Poseidon2 units on the same LAN.
- With the HWg-PDMS software, S0 pulses can be converted to cost per time period and exported to MS Excel.
- Compatible with a range of third party SW (SCADA etc.). Examples for programmers on using the product are available in the HWg-SDK (Borland C++, MS Visual, VB, C#, PHP, JAVA and more).
