The SPTC temperature sensors are used in heating and air conditioning system for both civil and industrial use.
Connected to the relative controllers (Omnia), they allow to measure the temperature in rooms, pipelines, air ducts as well as the external building temperature. The sensors detect the temperature by means of a sensitive element whose ohmic value varies according to the measured variable.The sensors must be connected with 2 wires to a controller arranged to receive the ohmic signal determined by the type of sensitive element and do not require power supply.
